2.贝德福特大学

金沙游乐场85155坚持“引进优质教育资源、借鉴先进教学理念、吸引优秀教学内容、实现严谨规范管理、培养德业双修人才”的办学理念，与英国有“绿色大学”之称的公立大学——贝德福特大学合作举办“电气工程及其自动化”专业中外合作办学本科教育项目，项目专业为贝德福特大学金牌专业，根据英国《卫报》发布2019年排名，电子电气工程专业排全英第七，毕业生多数就业于世界500强企业，一直保持着98%就业率。

该项目是贵州省内首个获教育部批准的工科类中外合作办学项目，计划每年招收金沙游乐场85155120名。

报考要求：

参加普通高等金沙游乐场85155统一入学考试（高考），高考分数达到本年招生录取分数线；

英语单科成绩要求达到当地英语单科满分值的46.7%（即：满分150分制，需达到70分及以上）。

四、学年规划

第一年国内

University Introduction

Guizhou Institute of Technology

Approved by the Ministry of Education, the Guizhou Institute of Technology (hereinafter referred to as “G.I.T”) was founded on April 18, 2013.Its Structured on the basis of the former Guizhou Institute of Technology and Guizhou College of Technology, it belongs to a provincial full-time public general undergraduate university of the science and engineering class, focusing on engineering and involving the multidisciplinary coordinated development of engineering, science, management science, economics and others. Located in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, the summer capital in Southwest China, the University has set up two campuses, including its main campus located at Caijiaguan, on the bank of Aha Lake in the southwest of Guiyang, and covering an area of 866.7 mu, and also its new campus located in the University Town, Guian New Region, covering an area of about 1,757 mu, and with 923 teaching and administrative staff currently. G.I.T has established 19 colleges, 2 basic teaching departments, 33 undergraduate majors and 1 Sino-foreign cooperative program for undergraduate education, with 13044 full-time undergraduate students and 400 international students now.

University of Bedfordshire

The University of Bedfordshire was founded by merging the Luton College of Higher Education and De Montfort University in 2006. As a new comprehensive public university, the University of Bedfordshire is located at the center of an academic golden triangle formed by London, Oxford and Cambridge. As a modern university full of vitality, the University of Bedfordshire has established three campuses, four colleges and more than 220 majors. The University of Bedfordshire is ranked between 600th and 800th in higher education (world) university rankings issued by The Times and 67th among 130 universities in the UK. It has been awarded an excellent score and "excellent" for several disciplines consistently in the teaching assessment conducted by QAA on behalf of the UK government, and also won the Silver Medal in the educational excellence framework (TEF) newly formulated by the UK government. The University of Bedfordshire accommodates a total of about 24,000 students on campus, including 6,000 international ones and about 300 Chinese ones. The undergraduate/graduate courses cover business, finance, law, tourism, education, art, design, media, sports, engineering, computer science, medicine, biology, society and other disciplines.

Project Introduction

Guizhou Institute of Technology adheres to the philosophy of "introducing quality educational resources, drawing on advanced teaching concepts, attracting excellent teaching content, achieving rigorous and standardized management, and cultivating moral and professional talents", and cooperates with the University of Bedfordshire, a public university known as the "Green University" in the United Kingdom, to organize the undergraduate education program of "Electrical Engineering and Automation". This program is a gold medal program at the University of Bedfordshire. According to the 2019 UK University Ranking released by The Guardian, this program ranks seventh in the UK. Most of the graduates are employed by Fortune 500 companies and have maintained at 98% of employment rate.

This programme is the first Sino-foreign cooperative education program in Guizhou province to be approved by the Ministry of Education in the field of engineering, with a planned intake of 120 students per year.

Application requirements:

Attend the unified entrance examination (college entrance examination) for ordinary institutions of higher learning, and the score of college entrance examination reaches the admission mark of this year;

English subject score is required to reach 46.7% of the full score of the local English subject (i.e., 70 or above out of 150 points).

Cultivation Mode and Degree：

The "4+0" Mode means all four years of study is in Guizhou Institute of Technology, meeting the requirements of the training programme of Guizhou Institute of Technology and the University of Bedfordshire , completing the required credits and meeting the graduation requirements, the diploma of Guizhou Institute of Technology will be issued with the qualification recognized by the Mainland China and registered electronically by the Ministry of Education. If you meet the requirements for graduation, you will be awarded a bachelor's degree in the corresponding discipline of Guizhou Institute of Technology.

The "3+1" Mode means that students who have met the academic and English language requirements can go to the University of Bedfordshire in the UK for one year during their senior year through an inter-college exchange between students from both universities. During the fourth year of study in the UK, students will be awarded a degree certificate from the University of Bedfordshire and a graduation certificate and a degree certificate from the Guizhou Institute of Technology after they have taken courses that meet the requirements for mutual recognition of credits for exchange studies and passed the University's study assessment.

According to the relevant requirements of the Ministry of Education's Study Abroad Service Centre, from 2019 onwards, students of the Sino-Foreign Cooperative Study Programme will be awarded a degree and a diploma by The University of Bedfordshire.The University will enter the students of the Sino-Foreign Cooperative Study Programme into the registration and certification system to ensure that their qualifications are certified by the Ministry of Education's Study Abroad Service Centre.

Training Objectives

The programme embraces the essence of Sino-British higher education and cultivates students' all-round development in moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic aspects through the integration of Chinese and foreign educational concepts. The programme is designed to meet the needs of international engineering professionals.

Program Advantages

Save on Learning Costs

The tuition of this program is lower than the common cost for studying in the UK by 50% to 60% and the tuition in the G.I.T (domestic) is RMB 24,000 / year. If a student goes to study in the UK during his/her senior year, the tuition is GBP 11,500 per year (about RMB 100,000 per year), which excludes the living and accommodation expenses. Any yearly adjustment is subject to the publication of the current year. During his/her stay in the UK, the living, transportation and accommodation expenses are about RMB 60,000 to 80,000 per year, and may change depending on personal situations. During the study in the University of Bedfordshire, students may receive scholarships ranging from DBP 1,500 to 5,000, depending on academic and IELTS scores.

Preferred Master Students without Examination

Graduates of this Program who meet the requirements for admission to the master's program of the University of Bedfordshire may directly, without examination, participate in study for one year for a master's degree of the University of Bedfordshire. They may not only select an interdisciplinary major and but also obtain scholarships ranging from GBP 1,500 to 5,000 provided by the University of Bedfordshire according to their academic performance. What’s more, they can obtain the academic certification from the Oversea Study Service Center of the Ministry of Education after returning to China.

Electrical engineering and its automation is an emerging discipline in the field of electrical information, which has a wide range of applications worldwide, reaching out to all walks of life. With the continuous development of modern industry, there is considerable potential in the market for talents in electrical automation technology. The graduates of this major mainly work for energy, electric power system industry, automation technology enterprises, electric power design institute, power transmission and distribution engineering companies and other "power generation, transmission and distribution" enterprises and related design institutes.

Academic Year Plan

Year 1 Domestic

In addition to the compulsory undergraduate public courses taken full-time at Guizhou Institute of Technology, students on the programme are taught English by teachers from the University of Bedfordshire in the UK to develop basic skills in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation.

Year 2-3 Domestic

Full-time study at Guizhou Institute of Technology and the University of Bedfordshire basic courses and professional core courses, taught by excellent University teachers with many years of teaching experience, senior professional teachers from G.I.T and excellent teachers with overseas research experience.

Year 4 Domestic / Foreign

Domestic Year 4 : Students complete a core curriculum and comprehensive professional practice at G.I.T and the University of Bedfordshire on a full-time basis in their fourth year at G.I.T.

Fourth Year Abroad : students who pass the Talent Development Programme and related assessments and meet the entry requirements of the University of Bedfordshire will be allowed to go on a one-year exchange study in the UK in their fourth year.
